Annuals / Inspections
Annual Inspections are required for all general aviation aircraft. Inspections aren’t merely required by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), they play a vital role in the maintenance and safety of the aircraft. Typically, most aircraft maintenance is performed in conjunction with annual inspections. At Vista Aviation we have the capability of performing inspections on everything from a Cessna 150 to a Beechcraft Baron. Additionally, we also preform 50 / 100-hour inspections, among many others.
PITOT STATIC TESTS
Pitot Static Test sets are used to ensure the accuracy of aircraft instruments. Our highly trained and experienced technicians can perform the required 24 calendar month Pitot-Static re-certification for IFR, single/dual transponders, Mode S and G1000 avionics suite. There are two FARs that dictate the biennial checks for most general aviation aircraft: FAR 91.413 for the transponder and encoder, and FAR 91.411 for the static system and altimeter.
